William Joseph Molloy

Napanoch, NY - William Joseph Molloy, a lifelong resident of the community, passed away on November 11, 2023, at the age of 69 after a brief illness. Born on January 20, 1954, in Queens, NY, Bill was the son of the late John "Jack" and Elena "Helen" Molloy.

Bill dedicated over a decade of his life working as a bus driver at Rolling V Bus Corp. He lived life to the fullest and had an adventurous spirit, finding joy in riding his motorcycle. Bill was known for his exceptional mechanical skills and enjoyed helping friends and family by fixing their cars and motorcycles. He had a deep love for people and always went out of his way to lend a helping hand. Above all else, he cherished his children and treasured every moment spent with them.

Bill leaves behind his daughter, Darci Mayer of Fort Lauderdale, FL, his son William Molloy of Ellenville, NY, and his mother Mary Salovich; his brothers, John Molloy and his wife Paula of Portsmouth, RI, and Michael Molloy and his wife Cathy of Kerhonkson, NY. He also leaves behind his lifelong friend Barry Bliden as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

Bill is preceded in death by his sister, Kathy Mason, and his brother-in-law, Howard.

Memorial visitation for Bill will be held at Loucks Funeral Home on Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with a celebration of his life beginning at 12:30 pm. All are welcome.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bill's name to the Ellenville Little League or the American Cancer Society.
