William A Harrison

William Arthur Harrison, of Sundown, passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2016. He was 78.

He was born in Brooklyn, NY to James and Anna Lindquist Harrison, on September 20, 1938.

William spent his early years in West Shokan, NY. He proudly served our country in the US Navy and he took pride in that along with being of Swedish heritage. He loved the outdoors, history and reading. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, he will be greatly missed by all.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Carolyn (DePew) Harrison at home; his two daughters: Deborah and Anna Markle and her husband Kevin both of Sundown; his grandchildren whom he adored: Megan, Kaitlin, Shawn and Erin Markle.

Visitation will be held from 12 to 2pm on Friday, September 2, 2016 at Loucks Funeral Home, 79 N. Main St., Ellenville, NY 12428. A funeral service will follow at 2pm at the funeral home. Rev. Walter Haff will be officiating. Interment to follow at Grahamsville Rural Cemetery.
