Wendy E. Avery

It is with great sadness that the family of Wendy Elizabeth Avery announce her passing. Born February 15, 1969 and passing May 11, 2022, she will be lovingly remembered by her mother Donna Finkelstein and her husband Gary Hill, her brother Benjamin and his wife Tina Avery, brother Michael and his wife Shannon Finkelstein, and nephews Brandon, Benjamin Jr, Brent, Michael and Josh.

She will also be dearly missed by her extended family, friends and colleagues at United Healthcare in Kingston, NY.

Wendy grew up in Ellenville, NY and attended Ellenville High School graduating with the class of 1987. She furthered her education at Ulster County Community College. Wendy was employed by United Healthcare in Kingston, NY and was a strong advocate for the United Health Care Children’s Foundation. She also volunteered with the ASPCA and the Ellenville Little League.

A celebration of life will be held on May 15, 2022 from 12:00 to 4:00 PM at the Marbletown Community Center, 3564 Main St., Stoneridge, NY 12484. Please feel free to bring a dish to share as this is a potluck event.
