Susan Ann Simmons of Spring Glen, NY, fondly known as Sue to her family and friends, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at her current residence. She was 74 years old, the same age as her loving husband who passed away 5 years ago. Sue was born in Ossining, NY on July 11, 1950; she was the daughter of Doris (See) Carpenter and Jasper Carpenter.

On April 30, 1970, she married Roscoe, her loving husband of 48 years, in Ossining NY.

Sue is survived by her son Roscoe Simmons Jr. and her daughter, Gloria Corley and her husband Steven, as well as their daughter and only grandchild, Miranda Corley; her brothers Joseph Carpenter and David See and several nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by her sister, Gloria Ranieri, her brothers Fred Coutant and Robert Carpenter, and her parents.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 10:00am-12:00pm. at Loucks Funeral Home, 79 N. Main Street, Ellenville, NY. A celebration of her life is scheduled right after visiting hours at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow at Fantinekill Cemetery, Ellenville. A gathering will be held following the burial at Ricke Len’s 7604 US 209 Napanoch, NY 12458.
