Sophie Francomano

Sophie Francomano of the Bronx passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Ellenville Regional Hospital with her daughter, Nancy by her side. She was 86 years young. 

  She was the daughter of the late William and Bessie Hofman Rosenberg, born on October 18, 1926 in Newark, NJ. 

 Sophie was a member of the Goose Island Seniors and Cancer Care both located in the Bronx. She was also a member of the Spring Glen Synagogue. She was a devoted wife, mother and friend to all that knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed. Sophie was the beloved mother and friend of her daughters, Nancy Francomano of Spring Glen and Barbara and her husband, George of CT. 

  She was the devoted wife of the late Joseph Francomano whom she was married to for 60 years. 

  Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 17th at Loucks Funeral Home, 79 North Main Street, Ellenville, NY 12428 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Pine Bush Cemetery, Kerhonkson, NY.; Cantor Davora Gartner will officiate.
