Shirley L. Solcberg

Shirley L. Solcberg of Ellenville passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at Ellenville Regional Hospital. She was 79.

She was the daughter of the late Richard and Lauretta Eckert Clark, born on August 12, 1934 in Middletown, NY.

Shirley enjoyed cross word puzzles, word books and computer games. She liked to watch special TV shows and most importantly spend time will her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother that will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

She is survived by her loving daughters Tracy Damms and her husband Michael of Ellenville, and Lauretta Farley and her husband John of Highland, 8 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren two sisters Mary Ellen Nelson of Tx.,RaeAnn Parenti and her husband Carmen of North Carolina, several nieces and nephews and many adopted grandchildren and great grandchildren . She was predeceased by one grandson David Damms and the love of her life Herbert Schrauer.

The family will be celebrating her life on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 starting at 1pm. at the family’s residence 1011 Briggs Highway Ellenville, NY 12428.

Arrangements were under the direction of Loucks Funeral Home.
