Sharon Helen Krom

Sharon Helen Krom, of Ellenville, passed away on Thursday, May 25 2017 at Health Alliance Hospital. She was 75. She was predeceased by her husband Francis V. Krom in 1993.

She was the daughter of the late Richard Joseph Comfort and Helen Alice Christian, born on February 24 1942 in Ellenville, N.Y. 

Sharon was devoted to her family, enjoyed spending time with them. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and aunt.

She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for her loving ways, strength of character, and family devotion. 

She leaves behind three children: Scott Krom and his wife Lin of Kerhonkson; Debra Krom of Hurley;

Lisa Smiles and her husband Christ Smiles of Spring Glen; her grandchildren Alyson Krom, Courtney Vedder, Cameron Sinagra, Phillip J. Sinagra III, Amanda, Anthony and Joseph Smiles; as well as three beautiful great grandchildren Emmett and Liam Vedder, and Alex C Tentas. Siblings; Richard Comfort and his wife Leanne, Colleen St John, Susan Hildebrand, Donald Sheeley and George Sheeley; as well as many nieces and nephews. 

She will be deeply missed, and forever admired by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 30th from 6-9 pm at Loucks Funeral Home, 79 N. Main St Ellenville, NY 12428. A funeral service will begin at the funeral home at 8:00pm Pastor Camille Regholec will officiate.
