Scott P. Ryan

Scott Patrick Ryan of Pine Bush, NY passed away on March 15, 2017. He was 56 years old. Scott was born on November 12, 1960 in Ellenville, NY; he was the son of Joan (Yerkins) Ryan and the late Arnold S. Ryan.

Scott was a veteran of the United States Navy having served aboard the USS Harry E Yarnell. Following his honorable discharge he worked for McDonald Douglas. Scott was currently employed by Brae Loch Estates where he was the caretaker for the past 25 years. He was a member of the VFW Post #5492 of Pine Bush, was an avid fisherman and hunter and lived his life the way he wanted to.

In addition to his mother Joan, Scott is survived by his brothers, Robert A. and Kelly J. Ryan; his nephew Luke Ryan and his wife Stephanie as well as several aunts and uncles.

A graveside Memorial service with military honors will be held on Saturday, April 8th at 10:00 am at Fantinekill Cemetery. Arrangements are under the guidance of Loucks Funeral Home, 79 N. Main Street, Ellenville, NY.
