Roberta "Bobbi" Grundt

Roberta “Bobbi” Grundt, a longtime resident of Ellenville, died Monday, March 21, 2016 at the Achieve Rehab and Nursing Home in Liberty. She was 79.

Bobbi was born in Ellenville on February 16, 1937 to the late William and Etta Cohen.

Bobbi was always behind the counter at Cohen’s Bakery with a smile. She was an avid reader and lover of T.V. and movies. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughter Hillary Smith, son-in-law Darren Smith of Napanoch, son Steven Grundt of Ellenville; sisters and best friends Diane Cohen and Beverly Cohen of Fishkill, NY; granddaughter Bailey Smith of Oswego, NY and grandson Logan Smith of Napanoch.

She was predeceased by her parents and husband Fred Grundt.

Memorial visitation will be held on Friday, March 25th from 1-3 pm at Loucks Funeral Home, 79 N. Main St., Ellenville. There will be a gathering at Scorsby Hose following the memorial.
