Patricia A. Smith

January 5, 1937 – December 30, 2020

Patty Smith a lifetime area resident passed away at the Valley View Center for Nursing in Goshen, NY. The daughter of the late Alfred and Marian Smith of Napanoch, NY. She was born in Highland, NY.

Patty worked for the Ellenville National Bank for 43 years as  Supervisor for the bookkeeping department. She was an avid crocheter, winning a blue ribbon for her exceptional work. Patty loved nature, animals, a good sale, shopping and her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

She was predeceased by her parents, her daughter Allison Carleton, her sisters Lorraine Horstman, Marian Terwilliger and Joyce Smith. She was a member of the St. Mark’s United Methodist Church.

Patricia is survived by the love of her life for the past 65 years - Warren Smith, her son Darren Smith (Hillary), grandchildren Katelyn Frost, Bailey and Logan Smith and Stephen Carleton, her sisters Elaine Larson, Rita Darmstadter, Lenore Hesse, Cathy Trow and a brother Larry Smith.

A special thank you to the staff of Valley View Homestead for their care of Patty throughout the years.

There will be no visitation or services.
