Nelson N. Jennings Sr.

Nelson N. Jennings, Sr. of Ellenville, NY passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at his home. He was 61 years old.  Nelson was born on May 10, 1959 in Suffern, NY; he was the son of the late Elijah and Ina (Harty) Jennings.

Nelson was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He enjoyed working and tinkering on his vehicles. Nelson enjoyed the simple things in life along with a cold beer and country music playing on the radio, but what he cherished most of all he was spending time with his family.

Nelson is survived by his wife, Debora Bernard; his children, Vanessa Jennings, Joanne Dinnerstein, Cindy Jennings, Nelson Jennings, Jr. and his wife Sara, Pamela Jennings and Terilynn Jennings; five grandchildren; his brothers, Elijah Jennings, Jr. and his wife Mary, Hampie Jennings and Roscoe Jennings; his cousin, Keena Jennings, Sr. and his wife Debbie as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents Nelson was predeceased by his brother, Louis Jennings, Sr.

Visiting will be held on Thursday, April 1st from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Loucks Funeral Home, 79 N. Main St., Ellenville, NY.
