Mona B. DeWitt

Mona Barbara DeWitt, of Napanoch, NY, passed away on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Catskill Regional Hospital.  She was 76 years old. Mona was born on December 15, 1941 in the Bronx, NY; she was the daughter of Arthur and Frances (Greenfield) Oltzik.
Mona’s love for animals started at a young age. She worked as a Veterinary Technician at the Animal Medical Center in New York City. On December 30, 1978 she married Herbert DeWitt Jr.
 
In addition to her husband, Mona is survived by her stepchildren, Sandy Wheaton, Herbert DeWitt III, Wes DeWitt and Lavilla Bennett; her sister, Rhoda Oltzik as well as several step grandchildren.
 
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on May 31, 2019  at the Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery.

There will be a luncheon following the service at the White Sulphur Springs Firehouse.
