Michael T. Rosselli of Kerhonkson, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 4, 2017. He was 57 years old. Michael was born on June 2, 1960 in Ellenville, NY; he was the son of Donna (Forkas) Rosselli and the late Gary T. Rosselli.
Michael graduated from Rondout Valley High School “Class of 1978.” He and his brother Larry owned and operated Mike and Larry’s Double Play Ice Cream Stand in Kerhonkson for 12 years. More recently Mike worked as a Butcher for Peters Market and Shoprite of Ellenville. Mike was a former coach for the Indian Valley Little League as well as a Cub Scout leader. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and the Rondout Valley Rod and Gun Club. Mike was an avid outdoorsman as well as an avid sports fan, especially when it came to NASCAR and the NY Giants. He enjoyed tending to his vegetable garden and was a friend to many.
On June 28, 1980, Mike married Karen (Green) Rosselli.
In addition to his wife, Karen of Kerhonkson and his mother Donna of Ulster Heights, Mike is survived by their children, Jennifer Pallante and her companion Benjamin Aliberto of Kerhonkson and David Rosselli of Ellenville; his brothers, Larry Rosselli and his wife Theresa of Napanoch, Daniel Rosselli and his wife Carol of Kingston; his sister, Lisa Rosselli of Chittenango and his nieces, Marysa, Caitlyn and Hailey.
Visiting will be held Sunday, October 8th from 5-8 PM at Loucks Funeral Home, 79 N. Main St., Ellenville, NY. A Celebration of his life is scheduled for Monday at 11 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Fantinekill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Michael’s name to the Indian Valley Little League, P.O. Box 686, Kerhonkson, NY 12446.
