Martin Coppersmith Sr.

 Martin Coppersmith Sr., a retired truck driver from Ellenville, NY, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at the Catskill Regional Medical Center. He was 87 years old. Martin was born on February 15, 1925 in Brooklyn; he was the son of James and Wilhelmina Coppersmith.

Martin is survived by his son Martin Coppersmith Jr. of Ellenville, his step children William Hinkley and Heidi Baker both of Kentucky, his sisters Dorothy Frandolig of Long Island and Julie Weinbel of New Jersey.

Visiting will be held on Monday, April 23rd from 10am – 12pm at Loucks Funeral Home, 79 N. Main St., Ellenville, NY. Cremation will be private.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Martin’s name to the American Cancer Society, 121 Executive Dr., New Windsor, NY 12553.
