Lucy B. Parker

Lucy B. Parker of Ellenville, NY, passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 21, 2013. She was 60 years old. Lucy was born on January 15, 1953 in Virginia; she was the daughter of the late Edmund F. and Juanita (Davis) Smith.

Mrs. Parker had worked in Sullivan County as a Mental Health Social Worker prior to her retirement. She was an avid reader and loved spending time with her family and friends. Lucy adored her children and grandchildren and considered them her precious jewels. Lucy possessed strong analytical skills and you could always depend on her to offer good advice. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.

Lucy is survived by her husband Matthew Parker; her daughter, Sarah Berger and her husband Donald Langlois all of Ellenville; her stepsons, Joshua Parker of Newburgh and Christopher Parker of Albany; her brother, Clark Smith and her three grandchildren, Tyler, Kyle and Kaelyn.

Lucy was predeceased by her stepson Kyle Parker and her brother Edmund “Bucky” Smith Jr.

Memorial visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th from 11am – 1pm with a celebration of her life immediately following at Loucks Funeral Home, 79 N. Main St., Ellenville.
