"There is a time to be born and a time to die" Ecl. 3:2
One of my favorite memories of Grandma Louise is when I was about 5. All the other grandkids went off to play. It was just me and her in the farmhouse. She and I ate homemade chocolate chip cookies with milk on the deck. We talked a little bit, but the best thing about it was I felt Grandma could hear me even though I was quiet. She was good for my soul. On the morning Grandma died, I knew it was her time to be with Jesus. I have been praying about going back to New York and seeing grandma before she passed on for a year. However, that Saturday morning my prayer included me realizing that if it is Grandma's time to go, then I cannot hold her back from heaven. No one but God gives permission for his children to go to him. Now, it is up to the rest of us who are here to carry on her legacy of kindness and love for God. Ha

We are so sorry for your loss. She was a very sweet and caring woman who always had a smile on her face. She loved all of her family very much. She will be greatly missed. We love you all.

My goodness. I was a friend of Otis, whom I met through Stan Terwilliger. Exceptional people they all were, and I just wanted to touch base with you. Remember the good times.
