Lila McAliece

Lila McAliece of Ellenville, NY, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2014. She was 80 years old. Lila was born on November 2, 1933 in Middletown, NY; she was the daughter of Gladys Crossman Worden.

Lila had worked at the Tamarack Lodge as a chamber maid. Prior to this she worked at the Woodridge Steam Laundry and the Granit Hotel.

Mrs. McAliece is survived by her husband Philip B. McAliece of Ellenville; her son Harold Tice Jr. of Ellenville; daughters, Jeanette Tice of Tulsa, OK and Laura Millican and her husband Randy of Rome, GA; brothers Bob Worden and his wife Barbara and Frank Worden and his wife Betty; her sister, Joyce Jones; grandchildren, Melissa Crawford and her husband Chad, Stephanie Moore and her husband Brent, Jason M. Tice, Edward Egan, Chris and Mike Millican; great-grandchildren, Eva Tice, Alexis Coykendall, Alexander Tice and Steven Moore. Lila also leaves behind many dear friends.

She was predeceased by her first husband Harold Tice Sr.; her brothers, Joe (Otis) and Karl Worden and her sister Lila Worden.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 19th from 5 to 8pm at Loucks Funeral Home, 79 N. Main St., Ellenville. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 1pm at the funeral home.
