Laura L. Wynkoop

Laura L. Wynkoop of Ellenville, NY passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at the Ellenville Regional Hospital. She was 66 years old. Laura was born on November 28, 1947 in Ellenville; she was the daughter of the late William Hornsberger and Barbara Munro Huckell.

Laura held a Bachelors Degree in Accounting and had worked as a bookkeeper for Lucille Hand Real Estate in Ellenville. She enjoyed sewing and antiquing and was very creative and crafty.

She is survived by her daughters, Lin Krom and her husband Scott of Kerhonkson and Penny Armstrong and her companion Norbert Bracklow of Olivebridge; her sisters, Joan Mackey and her husband William of Milton and Bette Rose and her husband Kenneth of Accord; her brother, Thomas Cochrane of Denmark; her brother-in-law, Robert Valentino of Gardiner; her grandchildren, Robin Roxby, Christopher McGirr, Samantha and Charlie LaRusse. Laura also leaves behind her devoted dog Daisy, her very dear friends Bobby, Doug and Tom, several nieces and nephews, and an entire Amish community of friends in Lancaster, PA.

Laura was predeceased by her husband Howard Wynkoop, her sister Patricia Valentino and her granddaughter Alyssa Roxby.

Friends are invited to gather at Loucks Funeral Home, 79 N. Main St., Ellenville , NY on Wednesday, July 9^th at 7pm. A memorial service will begin at 8pm.
