Larry F. Yerkes Jr.

Larry F. Yerkes Jr. of Kerhonkson passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2017 at Health Alliance Hospital. He was 62.

He was the son of the late Larry and Nancy (Painter) Yerkes born on October 6, 1954 in Ellenville, NY.

Larry proudly served our country in the United States Army from 1980-1984 and worked for both the Ulster County Sheriff and Ellenville Police.  He was a car enthusiast and enjoyed buying and repairing cars. He will be deeply missed by everyone that knew and loved him. 

He is survived by his children Matthew and Larry Yerkes, Sara Holmes and Bryttani Yerkes all of Kingston, Ben, Sam, Andrew, and Amber Yerkes of South Carolina, his step children Katie and Chrissy his siblings Leeann Yerkes, Laurie Gambino, Lisa (Gerald) Green, Lynne (Michael) Neely, Leslie Yerkes, Lance (Victoria) Yerkes, Lyle (Judy) Yerkes, several grandchildren and many nieces nephews and a host of friends. 

Visitation will be on Friday, January 6, 2017 from 10:30-11:30am at Loucks Funeral Home 79 North Main Street Ellenville NY 12428.
