Kenneth Herbert Short

Kenneth Herbert Short of Napanoch, NY, passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 2012. He was 75 years old. Kenneth was born on April 15, 1937 in Kingston, NY; he was the son of Herbert and Harriet (Houghtaling) Short.

Mr. Short was a Veteran of the United States Army. He retired from the Town of Wawarsing as a Truck Driver and was a former Chief of the Napanoch Fire Department.

He is survived by his wife Betty of over 50 years, his son Kenneth Short, his daughter Karen Terwilliger and her husband Mark all of Napanoch, his brother Donald Short and his wife Cindy of Liberty, his sister Janice Yager and her husband Thomas of Grahamsville, his brother-in-law George Lake of Napanoch, his grandchildren Kelli, Devin and Daniel Short, Meghan Douglas, Erin McConnell and Ethan Terwilliger and his great-grandchildren Jacob, Abeegail and Kayleeanna Douglas.

Services will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of Loucks Funeral Home, 79 N. Main St., Ellenville.
