Katherine L. (Christiana) DePuy
Katherine L. DePuy, a beloved, lifelong resident of Napanoch, NY finished her earthly journey on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at the young age of 72. Born on May 17, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Reas (Bernie) and Jeanette Christiana.

Katherine married her childhood sweetheart, Floyd DePuy, 53 years ago. She leaves behind her beloved husband, Floyd, her sister, Jeanne Christiana, cousins, aunt, nieces, Godchildren, her church family, her beautiful “thrift shop ladies,” and special childhood friends, Colleen and Bonnie (the three amigos). 

Katherine fought a long, hard and courageous battle and we were so proud of her. God has blessed us with her presence in our lives and we know she touched many people with her smile, compassion and willingness to listen. Katherine loved people, especially children. She was an active member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church in Napanoch. She was chairperson of the Mission Committee and ran St. Mark’s popular thrift shop where her joy, compassion, and love of people was visible to all. 

A service of remembrance will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, November 28th at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, Napanoch, followed by interment at Fantinekill Cemetery. Pastor PeggyAnn Sauerhoff and Pastor Eileen Daunt officiating.
