Julia Hornbeck

Julia Hornbeck, of Wawarsing, NY passed away on January 30, 2015 in the comfort of her home. She was 98 years old. Julia was born on December 26, 1916 in Summitville, NY; she was the daughter of Adelbert and Mammie (Brown) Libolt.

Julia was a devoted homemaker who enjoyed cooking for her family and gardening.

She was predeceased by her husband Clyde Hornbeck as well as her son Arnold Ryan and her daughter-in-law Janice Ryan.

Julia is survived by her children, Roger Ryan of Napanoch, John Hornbeck and his wife Helen of Gardiner, Julia Schetzel and her husband John of Kerhonkson, Helen Ingham and her husband Phil of Wawarsing and Jim Hornbeck of Wawarsing; daughter-in-law Joan Ryan; eighteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held at Grahamsville Rural Cemetery in the spring.
