Juan F. Aragon

Juan F. "John" Aragon passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Orange Regional Medical Center. He was 65.

He was the son of the late Louis and Coronette Arroue Aragon born on September 14, 1947 in Montevideo, Uruguay.

Juan known to some as John was a dedicated member of his community. He was a life member of the Ellenville First Aid and Rescue Squad volunteering since 1997. He was an EMT at HITS in Saugerties, NY. He was a member of the Local 1430 IBEW. For 33 years he worked at Nexans Energy formerly known as Chester Cable and Alcatel.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be missed deeply.

He is survived by his wife, Kelley Aragon; three daughters: Georgina Aragon, Amy Lynn Pollock, and Cora Elyse Aragon; two grandchildren: Damion and Alycia Pollock; several nieces and nephews; dear friend Alex Cherviok; four brothers and many friends.

Visitation will be on Monday, December 3 at Ellenville Assembly of God Church, 67 Canal St., Ellenville, NY 12428 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. A funeral service will follow visitation at 12 noon; Pastor Brenda Cates will officiate. Interment will be in the Luna Organization Cemetery in Rock Hill, NY.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Juan’s name can be made to the Ellenville First Aid and Rescue Squad, 1 Webster St., Ellenville, NY 12428.
