Joseph Rayford

It is with great sadness that we remember the life of Joseph Rayford, who passed away on June 21, 2023 at the age of 95 in Goshen, NY. Joseph was born in Knoxville, TN on February 11, 1928 to his beloved parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rayford.

Joseph had a passion for cooking that led him to work as a chef for Brookside Hotel in Kerhonkson. Joseph was much more than a talented chef; he had a heart of gold. Those who knew him would describe him as having a beautiful soul. He lit up any room he walked into, and people couldn't help but feel happy and loved in his presence.

Joseph leaves behind a tight-knit group of friends who he considered family: Deborah Rondon, Marta Hornsberger, Fernando Terry, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Patty Green, Mary Rondon and his nephew Billy Rayford.

While we mourn the loss of Joseph, we are comforted by the memories we have shared with him throughout the years. His kindness and generosity will always be remembered fondly by those whose lives he touched.

Services for Joseph will be held at a later date.

Rest in peace dear Joseph Rayford - you will be forever missed.
