Jason Anthony Yerks

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Jason Yerks, who died on September 27, 2024, in Ellenville, NY. Jason was born on December 14, 1977, in Poughkeepsie, NY, to Arthur and Shirley (Sickler) Yerks.

A proud graduate of Poughkeepsie High School, Jason further dedicated himself to his work as a Receiver at CardinalHealth in Montgomery, NY. Throughout his life, he was known for his strong work ethic and dedication.

In 2003, Jason married Aimee (Warner) Yerks, and they built a loving home together. He is also survived by his beloved mother-in-law, JoAnne Warner, his brother James, and a cherished extended family that includes 10 nieces and nephews, as well as one great niece and one great nephew. Besides his parents, Jason was predeceased by his sister Frances.

Jason touched the lives of many during his time with us, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His warmth, kindness, and spirit will forever remain in our hearts.

The family welcomes friends during visitation hours on Sunday, October 6, 2024, from 12-2pm at Loucks Funeral Home in Ellenville, NY. The funeral service will begin at 2pm.
