Iris G. McDole

Iris G. McDole, 79 of Woodridge, NY passed away on December 9, 2023. She will be greatly missed. Iris was born on September 18, 1944 to Leonard and Ethel Quick in Ellenville, NY.

Iris was a lifelong resident of the area specifically, Ellenville, NY, Napanoch, NY and Woodridge, NY. Iris was the owner and proprietor of Mae’s Beauty Salon for many years located in Ellenville and later the owner of Sam’s Auction Sales which she and Sam ran lovingly together for many years.

Iris loved reading, listening to music, talking and texting with her friends and going on Facebook. Iris looked forward to and greatly enjoyed going to Thursday night dinners with her friends and brother.

Iris is survived by her son, Alvin C. McDole and his wife, Debbie; granddaughters, Caleigh and Cassidy; stepsons Ken Presti and his wife, Rosie, Mark Presti and Jeff Presti; brother, Leonard Quick, and several nieces and nephews.

Iris is predeceased by Samuel Presti, the love of her life for 33 years as well as her sister, Nora Marl and brothers George Quick, Roy Quick and Dale Morris.

Visiting will be held on Friday, December 15^th from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Loucks Funeral Home, 79 N. Main St., Ellenville. A celebration of her life will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, December 16^th at the funeral home followed by burial in the Ulster Heights Cemetery.
