Gerald Richardson

Gerald Richardson of Ellenville, NY, passed away on April 16, 2022. He was 65 years old. Gerald was born on July 10, 1956 in New York, NY; he was the son of the late George and Alice (Barbour) Richardson.

Gerald lived in Ellenville for many years. He was well known for his custodial work with the Ellenville Central School District.

Gerald is survived by his wife, Lucy Garcia; his sons, Michael Richardson and his wife Melissa of Pennsylvania and Elliott Harrison of Oregon; step daughters, Charesia Sutton and Jasmin Sutton; his grandchildren, Dezmin, Chasity, Preston, Jakiaya and Aura; and his siblings, Theresa Nettles, Lenora Ferreira, Charmaine Langley, Lloyd Gibbs, Dawn Sadler, Lance Gibbs, Lisa Mack and Naomi Sineath; his godfather Lenny Gibbs; and a special thanks to his caregiver Eleanor Vantassel.

Gerald was predeceased by his son Gerald Keith Richardson; and by his sister Dina Sadler and his brother Kenneth Richardson.

The family will be receiving friends from 12:00pm to 1:00pm on Saturday, April 23rd at the Shiloh Baptist Church, 60 Berme Rd, Ellenville. A celebration of his life will immediately follow. The Reverend Julius Collins with officiate.
