Gabriel Rodriguez Jr.

Gabriel Rodriguez Jr., of Ellenville, NY, passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Ellenville Regional Hospital. He was 66 years old. Gabriel was born on March 23, 1952 in Salinas, Puerto Rico; he was the son of the late Adelina and Gabriel Rodriguez Sr.

Gabriel had worked for Hydro Aluminum as a machine operator until its closing. In his younger years he enjoyed playing softball and bowling.

He is survived by his loving wife Ramona “Moni” Rodriguez; his sisters, Edelmira Rodriguez, Norma Iris Morales and Rosa Julia Rodriguez; his brothers, Jose Anibal and Felix Morales; his special niece and nephew, Elisa-Saul Mendoza and David Cartagena as well as many other nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents Gabriel was predeceased by his brother, Angel Rodriguez.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 3rd from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm with a celebration of his life beginning at 8 pm at Loucks Funeral Home, 79 North Main St. Ellenville. Cremation will be private.
