Frederick J. Quick

Frederick John Quick of Greenfield Park, NY, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 surrounded by his loving family at the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence. He was 54 years old. Fred was born on December 29, 1960 in Ellenville; he was the son of the late Virgil and Adeline (Crawford) Quick.

Mr. Quick had worked as a security officer for several resorts including the Fallsview, Nevele and the Tamarack to name a few. He assisted at the world trade center following 911 and most recently had worked for Vortech Security in Newburgh. Fred enjoyed going on long drives, watching hawks and also old western movies.

He is survived by his wife Theresa, whom he married on March 29, 2008; his sons, Freddie John Quick, Billy Joe Drake, Mark Brown, Christopher Quick and Edwin Vinny Quick; his brother, Danny Quick; his grandchildren, Caleb Brown, Jayden, Taylor and Justin Drake and Christopher Quick Jr. as well as many nieces and nephews.

Memorial Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 1^st from 6-8pm at Loucks Funeral Home, 79 N. Main St., Ellenville.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Fred’s name to the American Cancer Society.
