Frank D. Carlsen of Grahamsville passed away on Monday, July 13, 2015 at the home of his son and under the loving care of Kim his daughter-in-law who has been taking care of him. He was 77.
He was the son of the late Carl T. and Mabel Dulaff Carlsen, born on February 7, 1938 in Montela, NY.
Frank proudly served our country in the United States Army from 1956-1958. After his honorable discharge in 1958 he worked for thirty-three years as a Foreman for New York Telephone. After his retirement he began working in real estate at Lucille Hand and later at the SYDA Foundation as the Telecom technician. He was the troop leader for Boy Scout Troop 187. He was a member of the Ulster Heights Rod and Gun Club, an avid gun collector and marksman. In his spare time he enjoyed square dancing with his wife, snowmobiling and collecting tractors. He was a loving father, grandfather and friend to all that knew and loved him.
He is survived by his children Kurt Carlsen andhis wife Kim of Grahamsville, Gary Carlsen and his wife Deborah Galway, Dale Carlsen and his wife Tammy of Hurleyville, 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, one brother Carl Carlsen of Washington and a host of friends.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 36 years Beverley Carlsen and one son Keith Carlsen.

Services were handled privately at the convenience of the family.
