Eugene "Oat" Sheeley

Eugene Sheeley, of Napanoch, NY, fondly known as “Oat” to so many, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2018 at Orange Regional Medical Center. He was 67 years old. Eugene was born on August 9, 1951 in Summitville, NY; he was the son of the late Gordon and Iris (Lybolt) Sheeley.

Eugene had worked as a Cleaner for the Fallsburgh Central School District. In his down time he enjoyed feeding and watching the birds, especially the cardinals.

Eugene is survived by his wife Terrie (Rose) Sheeley; their son, Kyle Sheeley and his wife Victoria; his sisters, Barbara Kells, Joan Kent, Sandra McCarthy and Diane Sheeley as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Eugene was predeceased by his sisters, Joy McCombs and Annabelle Roberts and his brother, Howard Sheeley.

As per Eugene’s wishes there will be no services.
