Emma Ware

Emma K. Ware, 74, of Ellenville, NY passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at the Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris, NY.

Emma was born on October 24, 1937 in Charleston, SC; the daughter of Bernice Washington and Frank Ware.

She was a longtime resident of Ellenville and retired employee of the Ulster County Infirmary.

Survivors include her sister Annie Banks of Charleston, SC and her brother Rosel Banks of Ellenville. Her aunt and uncles Sarah, Melvin and Joseph Washington all of Charleston, SC. Her children Anthony Ware and wife Ann of Middletown, NY, Leon Ware of Phoenicia, NY, Joyce Ware of Ellenville, Gerrald Ware – Wigfall and husband David of Ellenville, Edward Ware and wife Marcia of Newburgh, NY, Ramon Bethencourt and wife Lisa of Middletown, NY. Nine grandchildren Angeline, Ronald, Jeffrey Jr., Shannon, Eva, Tony, Torrie, Shannel and Ariel. Many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents Emma was predeceased by her sister Sara R. and her son Jeffrey Ware.

Visiting will be held on Friday August 17th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Loucks Funeral Home, 79 N. Main St., Ellenville, NY. A home going service will be held on Saturday August 18^th at 10 am at the New Testament Church of Jesus Christ, 39 Clinton Ave., Ellenville. The Rev. Raymond Younger will officiate. Burial will follow at Fantinekill Cemetery.
