Elaine Alice Geiselhart

Elaine Geiselhart, of Napanoch, NY, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2013. Elaine was the daughter of the late Milfred (Nip) and Martha Carson Geiselhart. She was 73 years of age.

Elaine was stricken with Polio in her teens and overcome much adversity. Through perseverance she became a gifted artist, learning to use her left hand, after paralysis affected her right hand. She loved animals and was adored by the two little dogs she adopted, Sorry and Senga.

She is survived by her mother, Martha; brother, Joseph and his wife, Linda of Napanoch; nephews: Joseph Geiselhart and his fiance, Carleen Kennedy of Ravena; and Neil Geiselhart and his wife, Leslie of Montgomery, along with her great nieces and nephews: Katie Mae, Thomas, Sarah, Carl, Kori, and Emily. She is also survived by her cousins: Diane McClay of Napanoch and Thomas Geiselhart of Bonita Springs, FL.

The family would like to thank all friends, neighbors and caregivers who supported Elaine these many years.

At Elaine's request, there will be no services.
