Edward Lang Budd

d. May 19, 2022

Edward Lang Budd of Spring Glen, NY, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday May 19, 2022.  He was the son of the late Ethel (Lang) Budd and Harry Budd Sr.

Edward served his country in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1963.  He went on to own and operate H&H Budd Excavating with his brother Herbie for many years making lifelong friendships.  He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, watching racing, baseball games, golfing, riding his 4-wheeler and snowmobile. He would always make time to spend time on the boat to see who could land the “big one”.   Some of his greatest memories are his hunting experiences with his grandson, son and close friends with always a big congrats for the “trophy”.  He loved long rides in the country to see the wildlife.  In his younger years you could find him around the table playing Pinochle with his mom and family or trying to bowl a 300.

Ed is survived by his wife Elizabeth “Betty” Budd; their children Diane Sindoni and her husband Brian, of Athens PA, Darlene Budd, Spring Glen, NY, George Budd, Spring Glen, NY and Teena O’Sullivan and her husband Patrick, Leesburg Fla.  His siblings Joyce Haener and husband AL, Harry Budd Jr. and wife Coral and Howard Budd and wife Patricia. His grandchildren, Jason Budd, Hailey Damms, Brian Dawson, Devon Dawson and Francine Keiser and his great grandchildren Rylee and Addyson Budd.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews all of which he enjoyed to the fullest.

Edward was predeceased by his parents Ethel and Harry Budd, his brothers Herbert and Carl Budd.

Per Edward’s wishes there will be no services.  Family is planning to have a celebration of life at a later date.
