Edgar G. “Ed” Lynn, fondly known as Pop, passed from this life on Saturday, April 24, 2021. He was 81 years old. Ed was born on June 5, 1939 in Harrisburg, PA; he was the son of the late Edgar J. and Bernice (Brallier) Lynn. 

Ed had retired from Hydro Aluminum, where he worked as a Sawyer. In his retirement years he enjoyed his woodworking hobbies, making things for his children and grandchildren. Ed was a faithful member of the Calvary Baptist Church of Loch Sheldrake. 

Surviving are his wife Audrey (Van Sleet) Lynn, whom he married on December 4, 1981 in Napanoch; their children, Robert Lynn, Tara Kratz and her husband John, Holly Houghtaling and her husband Todd and Dusti Van Sleet; his sister, Mary Knopsnyder and seven grandchildren, Dev, Dustyn, Samantha, Wayne, Thomas, Joshua and Camirron. 

In addition to his parents, Ed was predeceased by his siblings, William, Ruth, Franklin and Galen.

Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, May 1st from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Immediately following will be a celebration of his life at Loucks Funeral Home, 79 N. Main St., Ellenville. Inurnment will take place in Fantinekill Cemetery.
