Doris M. Snyder

Doris May Snyder of Napanoch, NY, passed away on Friday, September 28, 2018 at Ellenville Regional Hospital. She was 78 years old. Doris was born on April 16, 1940 in Newburgh, NY; she was the daughter of the late Alice and Charles Pentz.

Doris had worked at Ellenville Head Start for 26 years as a cook and 4 years as a foster grandparent.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her children, Mary Jane Robisch and her husband Carl, Debbie Quick, Brenda Czerkas and her companion Andrew Miller, Calvin Pentz and his wife Marietta, Timothy Lane, Tammy Ducker and her husband Raymond and Natasha Snyder and her companion Miguel Borrero. She had a special bond with all of her grandchildren especially Olivia Sargent and Dionysius who she helped raise and Michelle Shaw. Also surviving are her sister, Helen Scott and several grandchildren and  great grandchildren.

Doris is predeceased by her husband, Frank Snyder and her siblings, Willard Pentz, Robert Pentz, Rhea Schwab and Micky Pentz.

As per Doris’ wishes cremation will be private. A Celebration of her life is scheduled for 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 6th at the Running Deer Inn.
