Denise Laura Renee Skeen

Denise Laura Renee Skeen of Ellenville, NY passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Kingston Hospital. She was 64 years old. Denise was born on September 24, 1952 in Patterson, NJ; she was the daughter of the late Vincent F. and Madeline A. (Boyle) Basilicato.

Denise was a graduate of Ellenville High School. She had worked at VAW for 15 years and more recently worked in private home care before her retirement.

Denise is survived by her children, Kelly Anne Skeen and Matthew Ryan Skeen; her grandchildren, Anthony Gene Kareem Harrison and Hadiyah Jami Johnson; her companion of 20 years Marvin Wright; her sister Barbara Spadaro and her husband Jack as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Denise is predeceased by her husband Gene A Skeen Jr.; her sister Kathleen Kirschner and her brother Vincent Basilicato.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
