Daren J. Segal

Daren J. Segal of Ellenville, NY, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, November 5, 2015. He was 45 years old. Daren was born on March 14, 1970 in Nyack, NY; he was the son of Richard and Patricia Segal.

Daren had worked as a Corrections Officer at the Eastern Correctional Facility. He was an avid reader who had a thirst for knowledge and was extremely intelligent. Daren enjoyed spending time with his loving wife of 25 years Lisa Hoff as well as his mother and father who he idolized. Daren was admired and respected by his adopted brothers Thomas Savaglio, Carlos Gonzalez, Paulie Perretta and Alec Caffaro. Daren was an honorable, ethical, loyal and compassionate person who will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, and his wife, Daren is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

Services for Daren will be held on Wednesday, November 11th at 11am at Loucks Funeral Home, 79 N. Main St. Ellenville. Burial will follow at Fantinekill Cemetery.
