Charlotte Wright

Charlotte Wright of Ellenville, NY passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 11, 2021. She was 62 years old. Charlotte was born on December 4, 1959 in Ellenville, NY; she was the daughter of the late Frank and Beatrice (Smith) Wright.

Charlotte a lifetime resident of the area graduated from Rondout Valley High School. She took great pride in being a stay-at-home mom raising her two children and later her grandchildren. Charlotte enjoyed reading, watching soap operas, going to penny socials and collecting dolphins. She looked forward to her weekly outings of shopping, doing laundry and finishing off the day with Chinese food. Charlotte’s spirit will forever remain alive in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Charlotte is survived by her children, Heather Hart and her companion Leo Vega and James Hart; her sister, Louanne Wright-Pizza and her husband Karl; her grandchildren, Evelisse Martinez, Noah Vega and Oktober Lynn Hart.

In addition to her parents, Charlotte was predeceased by her lifelong partner James E. Hart Sr.; her sisters, Betty Wood and Darlene Wright and her brother, Richard Wright.

Visiting will be held at Loucks Funeral Home on Sunday, December 19th from 4:00pm to 7:00pm with a celebration of her life beginning at 6:00pm. Burial of her ashes will take place on Wednesday, December 22nd at 11:00 am at Pine Bush Cemetery, Kerhonkson.
