Catherine Virginia Hasbrouck

Catherine Virginia Hasbrouck of Ellenville and formerly of Kerhonkson, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at the Ellenville Regional Hospital. She was 90 years old. Catherine was born in Andes, NY on August 26, 1924; she was the daughter of Earl and Carrie (Irwin) Storey.

Mrs. Hasbrouck received her nursing degree and had worked as a home health aid for Bermac Home Aides Inc. in New Paltz. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts, gardening and making jewelry.

Catherine is survived by her children, Martha and Gloria Butler of Ellenville, Edna Startup of Monticello and Edward Butler Jr. of Ellenville; her sister, Gladys Carey of Napanoch; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous great great-grandchildren.

Catherine was predeceased by her husband Edward Butler Sr.

Visiting will be held Tuesday, March 31st from 10am-12pm and 7pm-9pm at Loucks Funeral Home, 79 N. Main St. Ellenville. Cremation will be private. Burial of her ashes will take place at Pine Bush Cemetery at a later date.
