Bradley T. Raymond, a beloved resident of Napanoch, NY, passed away peacefully at Westchester Medical Center on October 31, 2023. He was 66 years old. Born on December 20, 1956 in Kingston, NY, Brad is the son of step mother, Dayle Raymond, and was the son of the late Albert H. and Rosemarie (McCarthy) Raymond.
Brad dedicated his career to serving his community as a Corrections Officer at the Eastern Correctional Facility for an impressive 33 years until his retirement in 2020.
In addition to his dedicated service within the criminal justice system, Brad was an esteemed life member of the Napanoch Fire Company for an extraordinary 45 years. He served as a Lieutenant during his tenure and contributed significantly to the welfare of his community through this invaluable organization. Brad also volunteered with the Marbletown Fire Department and First Aid Squad as well as the Ellenville First Aid and Rescue Squad. Notably, he spent time as a devoted leader in both Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts when his children were young.
During his leisure time, Brad found solace in woodworking, enjoyed hitting the golf course, and passionately supported the New England Patriots.
Brad leaves behind his beloved wife, Margaret Raymond, and their four cherished boys. Joseph Raymond and his wife Kate, along with their children Jake, Kiera, and Joseph. Thomas Raymond and his fiancé Brynn along with his children Trace and Trent. Christopher Raymond and his fiancé Alina. Kyle Raymond and his wife Allison, along with their children Temperance and Johann. Brad is also survived by his loving siblings: Betsy Campana, Susan Gibbs, Cindy Silkworth (Jay), Jon Raymond (Jean), Christopher Raymond (Sally), as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 5th from 2:00 to 5:00 pm at Loucks Funeral Home, 79 N. Main St., Ellenville, NY, followed by a firematic service at 5:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made in Brad's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
