Betteanne Lutz

Betteanne Lutz passed away peacefully on April 24, 2018. Daughter of Beulah and Gordon Frost, she was born on July 12, 1936. She was 81.

Betteanne had a gift of a beautiful voice, which took her as a classically trained soprano throughout Long Island until moving to Walker Valley, NY, where she became a member of the Mountain View United Methodist Church and sang with the choir. She was also a long time member with the acapella singing group Sweet Adelines International.

Betteanne will forever be remembered by her large family who she loved dearly and was very proud off. Daughter Lisa and husband Scott Stedner, son Bill and wife Tami Lutz, daughter-in-law Dana Lutz, son Alan and wife Brenda Lutz, son Chris Lutz and companion Lya. She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, brothers Charlie Frost, Gordon and wife Linda Frost, sister-in-law Joan and husband Jim Kiernan and many nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by her husband Bill of 47 years, her son Larry Lutz and sister-in-law Carol Frost.

The family would like to thank the entire staff of Golden Hill Nursing Home for the wonderful care given to Betteanne.

A celebration of Bettanne's life will be Tuesday, May 1, 2018 from 2:00pm-6:00pm. A funeral service will begin at 5:30pm that evening held at Loucks Funeral Home, 79 North Main Street, Ellenville, NY. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Pine Bush or the Mountain View United Methodist Church. Donations can be mailed to Tami Lutz, 205 Sinsabaugh Road, Pine Bush, NY 12566. Checks will be hand delivered to the two local organizations.
