Bernadette M. Browne

 Bernadette M. Browne of Napanoch, NY passed away Monday, March 16, 2015 at Vassar Brothers Hospital. She was 84.

 She was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Madeline Kuhn Broschart born on August 17, 1930 in Richmond Hill, NY. 

 For many years she worked in Mary Immaculate Hospital in the admissions department and Baerenklau Oil Company.  She was a member of St. Mary’s St. Andrews Catholic Church and past member of Shawangunk Valley Senior Citizens and Holy Child Jesus Church in Richmond Hill where she volunteered at the mini-fair. She was a former Co-Brownie Leader and volunteer at the Grahamsville  Library. She always made her home a warm and welcoming place for all to come and visit; she will be deeply missed

. 

 She is survived by her children Susan Kusterbeck and her husband Donald, Betty Ann Obenshine and her husband Kevin, Judy Holowczyk and her husband Paul, Edward P. Browne and his wife Sandra, Mary Kate Stinehour and her husband Cort, seven grandchildren Edward Kusterbeck, Lori Balderrama, John Kusterbeck, Paul and Jackie Holowczyk, Brandon and Christian Stinehour, 10 great grandchildren, her three sisters Cecilia Howrigan, Virginia Ferrone and her husband William and Louretta Dragonetti and a host of friends. She was predeceased by her husband Edward C. Browne whom she married on January 17, 1953, three sisters Rosemary Hertle, Frances Piggott, and Madeline Kurz-Grossman and one brother Lawrence Broschart. 

 Visitation will be on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Loucks Funeral Home, 79 North Main Street Ellenville, NY 12428 from 2-4:00pm and 7-9:00pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 20, 2015 at 10:00am at St. Mary’s St. Andrews 137 S Main St, Ellenville, NY 12428. Interment will follow at Furman Cemetery in Yeagerville, NY.

 In lieu of flowers donations in Bernadette’s name can be made to the Shawangunk Valley Senior Citizens.
