Barbara Stuart, 58 of Grahamsville passed away peacefully on February 26, 2015 in her home. She is predeceased by her parents Raymond and Lorraine Conner of Napanoch.

Barbara grew up in Napanoch under the loving roof of her parents and her 5 siblings. Barbara is survived by CC Conner and her companion Ed of Napanoch, Toni Karlovic and husband Bob of Mesquite NV, Raymond Conner and wife Colleen of Lake Isabella CA, Merrill Conner and wife Gwen of Napanoch and Debbie Silva of Sanford FL.

After living much of her life in Napanoch Barbara moved to Grahamsville in 2004 to live with the love of her life Tim Kortright. They created a loving home together in which their cat ‘Lil Miss’ and beagle ‘Taz Ray of Fiddlers Bow’ will forever flourish from her love. While in Grahamsville Barbara created a circle of friends who stayed with her throughout the years. Danita soon became one of Barbara’s best friends and stuck by her over the years. She was always there to provide support or a helping hand whichever was needed. Danita provided a great support system for Barbara and was there up to and throughout her final days.       

            Barbara is survived by her 2 loving children, Jeremy Stuart and wife Jera of Philadelphia MS and Lottie Urrato and husband Steven of Albany NY. The two of them are greatful for the love, friendship and happiness that their mom gave them.

            Barbara takes with her the loving thoughts of her grandchildren, Erica Stuart of Vaiden Ms, and her new grandson Donovan Urrato of Albany NY. She will be their angel guiding them through the journey of life. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews who she will continue to watch over as she rests eternally with those that have gone before her.

            In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations for Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties, Inc. 800 Stony Brook Court Newburgh, New York 12550. Viewing will be held at Loucks Funeral Home 79 N. Main St., Ellenville on Monday, March 2, 2015 from 3pm until 7pm with services at 6:30pm. The Rev. Paul Z. Ruter will officiate. There will be a burial following in the Spring.
