Arlie Howard DuBois

Arlie Howard DuBois, age 67, of Ellenville, NY, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 23, 2024, surrounded by his loving family at Garnet Health Medical Center in Middletown, NY. Born on December 13, 1956, in Hancock, NY, he was the cherished son of Mary Elizabeth DuBois Newman and the late Howard Ward DuBois.

A proud Marine, Arlie served his country with honor and dedication, earning his Marine Corps Diploma. After his military service, he worked as a Programmer for Pratt & Whitney in Middletown, NY, where his skills and commitment were deeply valued.

Arlie is survived by his devoted wife, Phoebe Evonne DuBois; his beloved mother, Mary Elizabeth DuBois Newman; his daughter, Evonne DuBois-Benson; and his son, Joseph (Joey) DuBois. He also leaves behind his brothers, Michael DuBois and Jack DuBois; his sister, Marcia (Jeannie) DuBois; and his treasured grandchildren, Mykelty Benson, Savannah Benson, Shawn DuBois, Dorion DuBois, and Anastasia DuBois.

He was predeceased by his father, Howard Ward DuBois, his nephew, Michael Joseph Howard DuBois, and his in-laws, Jessie and Harrison (Joe) Smith.

A funeral service to honor Arlie's life will be held on Friday, August 30, 2024, at 12 PM at The Loucks Funeral Home, 79 N. Main St., Ellenville, NY. Visitation will be held from 11 AM until the start of the service. Arrangements are under the care of Loucks Funeral Home.

Arlie will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his legacy of love, service, and devotion will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.
