Arlene Brown

Arlene E. Brown of Grahamsville, NY, passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, June 25, 2021. She was 87 years old. Arlene was born on June 21, 1934 in Ellenville, NY, she was the daughter of the late Harrison and Sylvia (Krom) Crawford.

Arlene graduated from Ellenville High School in 1952. She worked as a Billing Clerk for General Sportwear which had several locations across the United States. Arlene married Harold D. Brown Jr. on July 30, 1988. He has since predeceased her.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Arlene was predeceased by her niece, Stacy Strath.

Surviving are her sisters, Joan Sheeley (Terry) and Lorraine Strath (Stanley); step children, Denise Brown (Michael Lowitz), Kathleen McCarthy and Janine Brown; grandchildren, Heather Constant Cardone (Steve), Jason Constant, Ed McCarthy (Dana), Chris McCarthy (Jennifer), Katlyn and Tyler Cassidy; nephews, Keith Bittner, Mark Bittner and Eric Strath; niece, Alicia Golliver as well as several great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 24th at the Grahamsville Rural Cemetery, State Route 55, Grahamsville, NY.
