Annie Joe came to America on a boat in 1958 with three children: Evelyn, Patrick and Kevin. She lived the American dream and moved to Brooklyn and eventually increased her family from three to seven by 1965: Joseph, Brendan, Anita and Matthew.
Later, the couple retired and moved to Ellenville, NY where she made many, many wonderful friends through the years. She loved to knit and was a member of the "Nimble Knitters" which met every Saturday morning in Ellenville Public Library. She had been an active member of her Church, St.Mary's and St. Andrew's for many years belonging to the choir and Rosary Society. Everyone always mentioned her smile and her precious Irish accent.
