Anna M. Hull

Anna M. Hull of Ellenville, NY, passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at the Montgomery Nursing Home. She was 87. Born on June 26, 1930 in Hazleton, PA; she was the daughter of Emerson and Ruth (Daniels) Hildebrand.

Anna had retired from Imperial Schrade where she worked as an inspector. Prior to this she was a nurse’s aide at the former Veterans Memorial Hospital, the Ellenville Hospital and eventually she went into private practice as a caregiver. Some of her simple pleasures were crocheting, knitting line dancing, baking on the holidays and making her famous noodle pudding. Spending the holidays with her family was very important to her. Anna was a very caring, kind and giving person. She will be deeply missed.

Anna is survived by her children: August Skip Hull Jr. and his wife, Barbara of Napanoch, Marva Connor and her husband, Dennis of Napanoch, Jolie Hull of Nevada, Randy Scott Hull of Florida; ten grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; her siblings: Robert Hildebrand, Ora Bollin and her husband Walt and Ralph Hildebrand. Also surviving are several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Anna was predeceased by her husband of 65 years August A. Hull Sr. whom she married on July 4, 1948 and her siblings: Shirley Decker, Jean Rose, Henry and Joseph Hildebrand.

Visitation will be on held on Tuesday, September 12th from 7-9 p.m. at Loucks Funeral Home, 79 North Main St., Ellenville NY. A Celebration of her life is scheduled for Wednesday at 11am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Fantinekill Cemetery.
