Anna J. Hnatiw

Anna J. Hnatiw, age 88, of Sundown, NY, passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2019 at Roscoe Regional Healthcare. Mrs. Hnatiw was born July 19, 1931 in New York City, NY. She was the daughter of the late Frank and the late Marie (Shipkowski) Fiumefreddo.
Anna married Walter Hnatiw on September 29, 1952 in New York City. He has since predeceased her.
She was a past commander of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary: Kelly-Ratner Chapter #198 in Kauneoga Lake, NY, was a member of the Sundown United Methodist Church and was part of the Women’s Society of Christian Services.
Surviving are her son Paul Hnatiw of Sundown, NY and his partner Barbara Dymond as well as Anna’s sister Marion Manookian.
Burial will be held at 11:30 am on Monday, November 25th at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Maspeth, NY.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Anna’s name to the Sullivan County SPCA, 104 Rockhill Dr., Rock Hill, NY 12775.
