Angel Luis Justiniano

Angel Luis Justiniano a longtime resident and local business owner of Lou's Center Food Market in Ellenville and Spring Glen Grocery, died peacefully with his family at his side at Duke Raleigh Hospital in North Carolina on August 25th at the age of 75. Born on December 13, 1939 in Las Marias, Puerto Rico to Eulogio and Rosalia. He was predeceased by his wife Dolores B. Justiniano. He was predeceased by 3 siblings; Mingolo Justiniano, Juanita Justiniano and Carmen Figueroa. He is survived by 3 siblings; two sisters, Leonidas Justiniano and Hortencia Santos and one brother, Emilio Justiniano. He is survived by his 3 loving children; one son Angel and his wife Joanne, two daughters Rosa and husband Richard Shamro, Sally and husband Serge Dealy; six grandchildren; Brittany Shamro, Tyler Shamro, Jordan Dealy, Jack Dealy, Kainan Justiniano and Callie Shamro.   

Angel was a loving father, grandfather, brother and Uncle. He was the meaning of a family man. His journey to the United States began at a very young age as he worked throughout the northeast in farms from Massachusetts to Pennsylvania to support his family.  Finally making Ellenville his home for the next 46 years, Angel and his wife Dolores (Bea) were business owners of Lou's Center Food Market and Spring Glen Grocery.  Angel was a man that graciously extended all that he had to help a family member or friend in time of need. He took great pride in his hard work and never let anything hinder his accomplishments. Angel and Dolores were pillars in the Latino community of Ellenville. Angel was admired by many family and friends. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Angel's example of compassion and generosity can be seen throughout his beautiful family. Thank you for setting such a fine example of a loving human being. 

The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, September 9th, from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Loucks Funeral Home, 79 N. Main St., Ellenville. A graveside service is scheduled for Thursday, September 10th at 1pm at Fantinekill Cemetery in the Mt. View Section.
